My husband and I (along with our 5 children) surrendered to serve the Lord in the Dominican Republic. When we first came to the D.R., my husband and I visited Doulos and were able to share our testimony with the middle school class. My heart opened up to the culture and to the Doulos mission at that time. At that moment, I knew I wanted our kids to come to Doulos. It was not until we moved to the D.R. that I was given the opportunity to work at Doulos and it was one of the biggest blessings God ever called me to. My students are like my children and I consider it an honor to teach them about Christ and His love. I teach first grade and I could not imagine my life anywhere else. This is my home!
The work of Doulos is important because:
