My family of four moved from Oregon with a desire to build community and share the gospel with the people of the D.R. Moving in July of 2020 was extremely difficult in terms of moving 3,000+ miles in the middle of a global pandemic, but the Lord blessed us immensely in that time. In my dual roles at Doulos, I have the opportunity to shape and mold the lives of the students in my classroom, as well as in every room, through improvements in educational curriculum, instruction, and environment. We love our life here and are looking forward to serving at Doulos for many years.
The work of Doulos is important because:
It fosters positive, Godly relationships that are necessary to bring students and their community to the Lord.
Hobby or fun fact:
I love hiking mountains. The longest day hike I have completed was a half dome (17 miles) in California.
