Starting in 2015, I began serving at Pico Escondido during spring break with Young Life. During that time we would hear about Doulos and each year the Lord continued to make it clear this was where He was leading me. During my spring break trip with YL in 2019, I applied for a position at Doulos and moved to Jarabacoa that fall to serve as the PE teacher/assistant for a year. One year has quickly turned into four years. I am now working in the Intervention Department and serving in the motor lab. The motor lab has opened the door for revolutionizing education at Doulos, and continues to allow me to have so many conversations that point back to our awesome Creator and how intricately He has formed each of us.
The work of Doulos is important because:
It allows us to share the gospel through education.
Hobby or fun fact:
I played collegiate soccer and now have the opportunity to play in a league here with students and staff from Doulos.
