Doulos is a special place, without a doubt. It has grown into being one of my favorite places to be, day in and day out. I graduated undergrad with a degree in U.S History from George Fox University and was originally planning to attend graduate school for a master’s in teaching before God called my wife and me down to the Dominican Republic to serve. Originally, I was apprehensive about the idea of moving abroad and living/working in a place with a different culture/language than my own. However, God has sustained us and brought me so much joy within my role here at Doulos. I love growing the sports programs of the school and see the incredible benefit that it can be to this community and to the kids that participate. I am thankful for God and his guidance of each step along the way.
