Our Financial Foundation: What Keeps Doulos Running Strong

North American Missionary Staff
Our missionary teachers and staff from North America fundraise 100% of their salaries. This allows more of the school’s resources to be directed toward local students, staff, and programs.

Tuition Income
Roughly half of our students pay full tuition. The other 50% receive scholarships based on a sliding scale tied to their family’s income. This commitment to economic diversity is a core part of the Doulos mission.
Student Sponsorship Program
To bridge the tuition gap for scholarship students, our Student Sponsorship Program connects generous donors with individual students. These monthly commitments not only meet a tangible financial need, but also build deep, long-term relationships that change lives.

New curriculum, updated Chromebooks, classroom resources, intervention materials, and even our second copier—these are direct investments into student success.

💰 Raise Salaries for Local Dominican Teachers
Our Dominican staff serve with heart and skill, often earning less than they could elsewhere. Full sponsorship funding helps us increase salaries to retain and attract top talent.

🔄 Free Up Resources for Other Strategic Needs
When student sponsorship is fully funded, we can allocate time and funding to other critical initiatives—such as recruiting teachers, providing hot lunches, offering scholarships to staff and graduates, and strengthening school-wide systems.

A Month of Prayer and Fasting

Each February, our school family feels the weight of the season—recruitment deadlines, mid-year fatigue, and the constant call to trust God.

Instead of pushing forward in our own strength, this month our team chose to pause and press into prayer and fasting.

We’re asking God to:

Clearly call new teachers and missionaries to Doulos
Sustain and bless the vision He has given us
