Any Given Tuesday: What It’s Really Like To Be On Campus At Doulos
***We promise, these photos were not planned, posed or polished***
We grabbed a camera on a random Tuesday and walked around campus. We wanted to share what it was really like at Doulos on any given day.
What we discovered is that it’s not the events or the big programs that make the deepest difference here—it’s the small, meaningful interactions that happen in class, between classes, on the playground, in line for lunch, and while students wait for a ride home.
This is what life looks like when community isn’t a department or a curriculum, but the way we do everything.

We're ALL Learning To Read
Students lined up to practice their sight words before school starts. There's a noticeable momentum and encouragement as they all work toward a shared goal.

Let's Figure It Out Together

We're More "Drawers" Than "Runners"
During free time a group of pre-schoolers enjoys drawing together. Introverts need friends too. :)

Elbow Partners
It's nice to sit next to someone who is always gently encouraging you to keep trying and doing your best.

I Just Like You, Because You're You
As they wait for "Flag" to start, students and teachers simply enjoy being together.
