School Principal

Eleven years ago God prompted my husband and I to move to Jarabacoa. He would work for another ministry and I had no idea where God wanted me. Doulos “sounded” great, but other ministries in town paid stipends which sounded good too. I accepted a position to teach second grade at another ministry. Suddenly they withdrew their contract, and so I called the Doulos School Director and asked if I could volunteer two hours a day working with kids. Fast forward to today, I work full time as the school director. This place is truly a place where all will grow, both students and staff. I believe there is no place in the world like Doulos and I consider it a blessing to be able to serve here day after day.

The work of Doulos is important because:

Every day for their 15-year educational journey, around 350 students come and are given an opportunity to encounter the Almighty God while being seen, known, loved and deeply discipled by Christ followers.

Hobby or fun fact:

I take an ice bath almost every day
