Jessi Kraudel

School Counselor

Ten years ago, while in college, God showed me what a great adventure following him really is. He showed me that being a part of his great big rescue plan for the world was exciting and going to be a part of my life, no matter where I landed. When my husband and I got married, this idea came up and lingered on the back burner for three years. After our plans were wrecked over and over, we started asking God if it was time to change directions. We both have degrees in education-focused areas and have dreamed of using this for God's kingdom. My sister had been working at Doulos for two years and encouraged us to come check it out. When we got here, we felt an overwhelming sense that this is where God was sending us next. Three months later, we were on a plane with our dog and a baby on the way. Saying yes to this has been the hardest decision I have made so far. Yet, God has been so faithful and clear in the fact that he loves me and that he is committed to what has been started at Doulos.

The work of Doulos is important because:

We get to be a part of not only equipping and shaping students to know the real Jesus, we then get to send them into the world with the Good News and skills to share it with a dying world.

Hobby or fun fact:

I ran cross country and track in college.
