God quite literally dropped Doulos in my lap after a conversation with a friend of a good friend from home. I had never heard of Doulos before, but came on a vision trip and loved the crew, interacting with the students, and the mission of Doulos. After a lot of going back and forth with my own fears and doubts, God brought peace to my heart and I said yes! The songs that I've sung my whole life that talk about surrendering, waiting on Him, and being open to His leading have all become tremendously more real! It's been such a joy to lean into God in this season, experience Him bring peace to my anxieties, and to trust that He always has good plans and fully knows me.
The work of Doulos is important because:
It is apparent that each student matters and that each student leaves Doulos knowing their identity in what Jesus says about them, and who He has called them to be.
Hobby or fun fact:
I ran into a horse the first time I drove a moto!
