What were you doing before you came to Doulos:
I taught elementary physical education at the American School of Santo Domingo, then was the director at Jarabacoa Christian School.
What are your hobbies or past times:
I love the mountains; hiking, mountain biking, whitewater-kayaking. I also enjoy painting with watercolors and reading.
How do your gifts contribute to the mission of Doulos:
Working between two cultures can be challenging, but God is teaching me to listen attentively to others and come up with creative solutions. I enjoy working alongside a great variety of people and draw out their strengths. It is a great adventure to follow Jesus and I'm game! Walking by faith, not by sight! “I run in the path of your commands, for you have set my heart free.” Psalm 119:32.
